Really excited and pleased to be announcing that guitar icon, solo artist and Genesis star Steve Hackett will be a special guest guitarist on the debut Illuminae album.

Creating a majestic towering cathedral of sound, embracing symphonic, progressive rock, folk and classical music, these are songs which traverse the fine line between darkness and light, life and death, solitude and hope. I was very honoured to be invited to the Warwick bass headquarters in Markneukirchen, Germany this week for a guided tour of their workshops and to meet the staff.
I had a great time – thanks Alicja Hubala, Nico, Marco and Hans-Peter for making me feel very welcome! The craftmanship and attention to detail that goes into their basses is second to none. Very proud to be an Official Warwick Artist and endorse their basses.

As a huge fan of Warwick basses I’m very pleased and excited to announce that I’ve accepted their invitation to become an official Warwick artist and endorser of their basses and amplifiers. I’ve been playing Warwick basses exclusively for a number of years – the tone, action and craftsmanship is second to none.
To celebrate, Warwick have created for me a stunning Custom Shop Masterbuilt Corvette $$ bass built to my specification. For some time Karnataka have been talking about the idea of performing complete albums and so for the next tour we’ve decided we’re going to perform two albums in their entirety – The Gathering Light and Secrets of Angels. It’s an exciting prospect for us and hopefully for you too.

Karnataka will be performing at the Electric Dreams Festival on Dec 4th. This three day and night long celebration of electronic music will feature iconic, influential acts from the dawn of synthesizers to the present day including Holly Johnson, OMD, Heaven 17, Go West, The Zombies, Barclay James Harvest, Pendragon and of course us!
