CHASING THE MONSOON

Introducing… Chasing The Monsoon. For anyone not already familiar, the band features myself, Steve Evans (producer of Karnataka’s Delicate Flame of Desire), guitarist Ian Simmons, Karnataka’s ‘The Gathering Light’ vocalist Lisa Fury, plus guest appearances from Troy Donockley and Karnataka’s Enrico Pinna.

We’ve been working on our debut album as and when time allows but are very pleased to announce the finishing post is in sight! The recording is all but finished with a few nips and tucks to be done before the album is mixed. Release and pre-order details will be announced in due course.

The music is an evocative mix of cinematic soundscapes, world music and Celtic influences… we think Karnataka fans will love it!

KARNATAKA @ A NEW DAY FESTIVAL AUG 6TH

Karnataka will be performing at A New Day Festival on August 6th with Ian Anderson, The Stranglers, Focus, Steeleye Span and others.

KARNATAKA ANNOUNCE DVD FILMING

Karnataka are very pleased to announce they will be filming their forthcoming London O2 Academy Islington show on June 25th for a DVD/Blu-Ray/CD release later this year. The band has been on stunning form this tour (read the reviews!) and want to capture this show for the new DVD. It may also be one of the last times the band performs the Award Winning Secrets of Angels album in it’s entirety!

X JUBILEE FESTIVAL OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK, POLAND

KARNATAKA have been confirmed as Special Guests at the X Jubilee Festival of Progressive Rock in Gniewkowo, Poland on July 2nd.

KARNATAKA WIN CRS AWARDS

KARNATAKA won the Classic Rock Society Awards 2016 for ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Song’ for Secrets of Angels. The band were also nominated in the ‘Best Band’ and  ‘Best Female Vocalist’ categories.
